Of Panamanian decent, born and raised in Brooklyn New York.
Attended Xaverian High School.
Attended Connors State College.
Professional career:
Played with Giants from 2003- 2006.
2 minor league championships.
​Highest level played AAA
​Daniel “Coach D” DeSouza played Pro ball in the SF Giants organization and knows all aspects of the game. His goal is developing the players, focusing on solid fundamentals, while teaching some advanced concepts and increasing their Baseball IQ.
Coach D brings a high energy and positive attitude to the field every day. He provides continuous feedback to the players for continuous improvement. He gives the team max effort and expects the same from each player.

He has 8 years of head coaching experience at competitive level All-stars, majors, travel.
He loves teaching the game of baseball.
Focusing on fundamentals to increase athletic ability and success which increases their love of the game.
He joined the 500 Hacks organization because he shares the same passion for growing the love and knowledge of the game.
